XRP spot ETFs were supposed to start trading today, got delayed

The first US exchange-traded fund (ETF) holding spot XRP was supposed to start trading today. Unfortunately, a delay has pushed its debut back. Misinformation about a supposed open for trading of a Rex-Osprey spot ETF is rampant across Ripple and XRP social media. Over the last seven days, XRP has been outperforming other major digital assets in anticipation of the good news. Over that time frame, XRP is up 7% which beats bitcoin’s 3% and ether’s 5% . Although most media reported today’s date as beyond the 75th day of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) standard review period for Rex-Osprey’s spot ETF application, delays by the Paul Atkins-led commission have pushed the first day of trading into at least next week. The earliest credible estimate as to the start of trading for the Rex-Osprey spot XRP product is Thursday per one Bloomberg ETF analyst — although additional delays are possible. Jim Cramer Wants to "Own" Bitcoin and ETH as a US Debt Hedge

CNBC analyst Jim Cramer says he wants to “own” Bitcoin and ETH for his kids because it’s a hedge against the US national debt. The analyst sees Bitcoin as a potential hedge against the growing devaluation of the US dollar, similar to gold. Bitcoin’s fixed supply and concerns about rising government spending and national debt are making the asset much more valuable to traditional finance experts like Cramer. Thus, Cramer is praising BTC and even Ethereum as must-have investments. Over the last quarter, Wall Street brokers figured out how to sell expensive crypto-backed equities, and investors’ appetite for new ticker symbols is ravenous . Observing the success of MicroStrategy’s persistent, multi-billion dollar premium to its bitcoin (BTC) holdings, a cornucopia of companies boasting about their BTC and altcoin treasuries have spawned onto stock markets across the globe. Six months ago, there were less than 70 public companies holding BTC. Today, there are over 130.  In addition, there are now various altcoin treasury companies holding ether (ETH), solana (SOL), XRP, and other assets. Booming market for publicly-listed crypto treasuries Consider Tether and Bitfinex’s version of MicroStrategy, Twenty One (CEP), which rallied to over 300% the value of its BTC within one day of its debut on public markets. Other publicly traded crypto treasury companies have performed even better. Upexi rallied above a 4x multiple-to-net asset value (m...
