US Inflation Rises to 2.9% in December 2024
Falling in line with what many experts had projected, US inflation has risen to 2.9% in December of 2024. Indeed, the Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the month shows that the figure had increased over the 2.7% it recorded in November. This data was always poised to be critical for the US Federal Reserve as they began to chart their next steps.
